c. Palawija yaiku tanduran kang ditandur sak liyani pari ing tegal utawa sawah
Tuladhane kacang, jagung, kedhele, wijen lan sapanunggalane
d. Karang kitri yaiku tanduran ingkang dipuntanen wonten ing pekarangan

BAB. II   Penggolongan Makhluk Hidup
Standar Kompetensi

Tujuan Pembelajaran
Setelah mempelajari bab ini, siswa diharapkan mampu
1.       Mengidentifikasi persamaan hewan dan tumbuhan
2.       Menggolongkan hewan dan tumbuhan berdasarkan persamaan ciri-cirinya

Makhluk hidup terdiri dari manusia, hewan, dan tumbuhan. Ketiga makhluk hidup tersebut dapat dibedakan berdasarkan ciri-cirinya. Selain memiliki perbedaan setiap makhluk hidup juga memiliki persamaan-persamaan. Persamaan yang ada pada makhluk hidup itu digunakan untuk mengelompokkannya ke dalam banyak kelompok.
A.      Penggolongan Hewan
Hewan dikelompokkan berdasarkan persamaan yang dimiliki antara lain penutup tubuh, jumlah kaki, jenis makanan, cara gerak, dan tempat hidupnya.
1.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Penutup Tubuhnya
2.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Jumlah Kaki
3.        Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Jenis Makanan
4.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Cara Geraknya
5.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Tempat Hidupnya

1.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Penutup Tubuhnya
Penutup tubuh adalah bagian tubuh hewan yang berfungsi untuk menutupi tubuhnya, contohnya adalah rambut, sisik, bulu, dan cangkang.
a.       Rambut
Rambut adalah penutup tubuh mamalia yaitu hewan yang menyusui anaknya.
Contohnya: kucing, kambing, kelinci, kuda, sapi, dll
b.      Bulu
Bulu merupakan penutup tubuh bagi hewan ungags atau hewan bersayap. Contohnya adalah ayam, angsa, bebek, dan berbagai jenis burung.
c.       Sisik
Sisik merupakan penutup tubuh bagi ikan dan reptile. Reptil adalah hewan melata atau merayap. Contohnya adalah ular, kadal, komodo,buaya, dll
d.      Cangkang
Cangkang adalah penutup tubuh yang keras guna melindungi diri. Contohnya adalah pada bekicot, kura-kura, penyu, udang, kepiting, dll
e.      Kulit
Kulit adalah penutup tubuh bagi hewan amphibi atau yang hidup di dua tempat yakni hidup di darat dan di air. Contohnya adalah katak, cacing, dll. Selain untuk penutup tubuh kulit pada katak juga digunakan untuk bernafas.


2.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Jumlah Kaki
Kaki adalah organ tubuh yang digunakan untuk berjalan. Ada hewan berkaki da nada pula hewan tidak berkaki. Berdasarkan jumlah kakinya hewan dikelompokkan sebagai berikut:
1). Hewan Tidak Berkaki, contohnya ular, ikan, cacing dll
2). Hewan Berkaki Dua, contohnya ayam, angsa, berbagai jenis burung, dll
3). Hewan Berkaki Empat, contohnya harimau, kucing, sapi, dll
4). Hewan Berkaki Enam, contohnya hewan serangga seperti kupu-kupu, nyamuk, semut, dll
5). Hewan Berkaki Delapan, contohnya laba-laba, kalajengking, kepiting, dll
6). Hewan Berkaki Sepuluh, contohnya udang
7). Hewan Berkaki Banyak, contohnya lipan atau sikaki seratus dan luing atau sikaki seribu.

3.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Jenis Makanannya
Berdasarkan jenis makanannya hewan digolongkan ke dalam 3 kelompok yaitu:
1). Hewan pemakan tumbuhan disebut HERBIVORA, contohnya kerbau, sapi, kambing, unta, dll
2). Hewan pemakan hewan disebut KARNIVORA, contohnya harimau, serigala, buaya, dll
3). Hewan pemakan tumbuhan dan juga hewan atau hewan pemakan segala disebut OMNIVORA, contohnya ayam, kura-kura, beruang dll
4.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Cara Geraknya
Berdasarkan cara geraknya hewan dikelompok seperti berikut:
1). Hewan berjalan dan berlari, contohnya ayam, kucing, anjing, dll
2). Hewan meloncat, contohnya katak, kanguru, belalang, dll
3). Hewan merayap, contohnya ular, cacing, kadal, dll
4). Hewan terbang, contohnya berbagai jenis burung, dll
5.       Penggolongan Hewan Berdasarkan Tempat Hidupnya
Berdasarkan tempat hidupnya hewan dikelompokkan seperti berikut:
1). Hewan darat yaitu hewan yang hidupnya di darat, contohnya sapi, kuda, dll
2). Hewan air yaitu hewan yang hidupnya di air, contohnya ular, ikan, dll
3). Hewan darat dan air yaitu hewan yang hidupnya di darat dan di air, contohnya katak.
